1st try on Bread!

Was kneading, pushing, slapping n rolling the dough. It's v tiring but satisfying when I see the dough proved to a larger size. Added bacon, mixed cheese, dried tomatoes and olives as fillings. The kitchen is filled with bread fragrance while oven is baking.








Loved the crispy sound when i cut the bread! This is a successful project! Except..the fillings' too little compared to the hugh bread and I did not store properly which cause the bread drying up like a big hard rock the very next day..Hahaa =p

Strawberry Marshmallow Cake

Decided to add on a marshmallow cake to the gathering since afew of the group are not taking mango. This was a last minute decision..fortunately it was completed intime with the mango cake.

Was too greedy on the bizkit base as you will see the outer layer is almost as thick as the marshmallows'..lol Feedback was the top layer's too chunk..will have to work on this to give a more creamy smooth bite the next time. Overall, the taste is nice and kinda refreshing. Recieved compliments and my little nephew specifically likes the base layers ;)

Mango Birthday Cake

Made this mango cake overnight and kitchen was in a chaos by the time it'd settled in the fridge. Luckily hubby helped to clean up the mess which speed up the whole process, we managed to turn in like 2am plus in morning **yawn**

Everything seems worthwhile when we see mum smiling contently at my scrappy masterpiece the next day =) Auntie and cousins seem to enjoy the cake too!
Tastebuds were filled with mango fragrance the moment you sink your teeth into it. However theres feedback that cake texture was not fluffy enuff and mango used was alittle fibrey.
